Ìdílé

Yoruba: the household, the family line

Scripture at the centre of the house.

Ìdílé is built around the evening the family actually has, not the one it wishes it had: a short liturgy, a question a child can answer, a verse worth carrying, and a way to see whether any of it is sticking.

It holds a marriage devotional for the two of you alongside the household rhythm, because a home is discipled before it is taught. The guide is Àtọ́ka — 'the one who points the way'.
